Comic and actor George Lopez posted a solid picture to his Instagram and teased that the Blue Beetle trailer was “coming quickly.”
The picture from Lopez’s Instagram put up options Lopez, stars Xolo Maridueña and Harvey Guillén, and director Angel Manuel Soto in a gaggle image. The put up is captioned “‘The Beetles’ [are] so excited for this one! Trailer coming quickly and also you’re gonna find it irresistible! Keep tuned.” No particular date was given for the Blue Beetle trailer, although followers shall be glad to listen to one is on the horizon.
The Blue Beetle film is directed by Angel Manuel Soto (Allure Metropolis Kings) from a screenplay tailored by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer (Miss Bala). Cobra Kai breakout Xolo Maridueña stars in Warner Bros. Photos and DC Movies’ first stand-alone Latino-led superhero film as Mexican American teenager, Jaime Reyes.
Becoming a member of Maridueña are Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, Harvey Guillén (What We Do within the Shadows), Brazilian star Bruna Marquezine (Breaking By means of) as Penny, and Belissa Escobedo (Intercourse Attraction, Hocus Pocus 2) as Milagro Reyes, George Lopez (The Spy Subsequent Door) as Uncle Rudy, Adrianna Barraza (Babel) as Nana, Elpidia Carrillo (Predator) as Rocio, and Damián Alcázar (Narcos) as Alberto.
