MEXICO CITY — Mexican International Affairs Secretary Marcelo Ebrard stated Tuesday he’ll resign his place subsequent week to dedicate himself to searching for the nomination of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s occasion to be its presidential candidate in subsequent 12 months’s election.
Ebrard is amongst three main aspirants for the nomination of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s ruling Morena occasion.
For months, Ebrard has been juggling his overseas coverage duties and pre-campaign actions. He stated he’ll resign Monday, June 12.
The opposite main contenders for the occasion’s nomination are Mexico Metropolis Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum and Inside Minister Adán Augusto López.
