Counter-Strike 2 builders strongly warned gamers in a publish that they’ll be banned in the event that they activate AMD’s Anti-Lag characteristic for CS2. In keeping with the publish, the options from the latest driver updates are “carried out by detouring engine dll capabilities,” including that when AMD updates the drivers, the group will work on “figuring out affected customers and reversing their ban.”

AMD added help for Anti-Lag Plus in CS2 within the Adrenaline Version model 23.30.1 driver. The characteristic is unique to Radeon RX 7000-series GPUs, so older {hardware} shouldn’t be affected. We emailed AMD for an announcement on the problem. Engadget notes you can disable the characteristic by urgent Alt+L, and factors out you can confirm the hotkey task in AMD Radeon Software program by clicking the gear icon > Hotkeys > customizing the hotkey for Anti-Lag Plus.
