NAIROBI, Kenya — An American man convicted of kid intercourse crimes in Kenya 9 years in the past was denied bail on new expenses of defilement, months after he was mysteriously launched from jail the place he was serving a 50-year sentence.
Terry Ray Krieger, 68, was arraigned on Tuesday night in courtroom in Mavoko County on the outskirts of the capital Nairobi, accused of sexually assaulting a 3-year-old earlier this month. He was arrested on Nov. 10.
He faces extra expenses of being in Kenya illegally.
Senior Principal Justice of the Peace Barbra Ojoo denied Krieger bail after prosecutors argued efficiently that he was a repeat offender and a flight threat. He’ll stay in custody till Nov 27, when the case shall be heard once more. He didn’t enter a plea but.
