5-star extensive receiver Cam Coleman grew to become the second blue-chip recruit in as many days to make a big-time flip. On Friday afternoon, Coleman dropped Texas A&M, selecting up SEC rival Auburn of their place.
Coleman had been dedicated to Texas A&M for almost 5 months. In mid-June, he took an official go to to the Aggies, giving his verbal to this system simply two weeks later. However now after an unofficial go to to Auburn final weekend for the Iron Bowl, Coleman has given his pledge to Auburn.
It’s a large second for Auburn, particularly for the reason that five-star extensive receiver is an in-state pick-up and is ranked as the highest participant in Alabama.
The category of 2024 recruit had an excellent senior season for Central (Phenix Metropolis, Alabama). He had 1,229 receiving yards (on 56 receptions) with 17 touchdowns.
At 6-foot-3 and 180 kilos, he can be a pleasant downfield goal for Auburn in addition to somebody who can use his dimension and size to post-up and transfer the chains.
On Friday it was Coleman making a flip. On Thursday, Justin Scott de-committed from Ohio State and dedicated to Miami in a little bit of a shock transfer.
The choice by Coleman wasn’t an enormous shock and there had been indicators earlier this fall that he might not have been all-in on the Aggies. In mid-November, Coleman took an unofficial go to to Florida State as nicely.

It shouldn’t be a shock that Coleman defected from Faculty Station, given the latest firing of Jimbo Fisher.
Auburn is now as much as No. 11 within the nationwide recruiting rankings with the Friday addition of Coleman in keeping with 247Sports.
