A cooling tower at a coal-fired energy plant that shut down in 2017 was destroyed with a managed explosion in Voerde, northwest Germany, on Sunday, December 3.
In keeping with native studies, the 165-meter construction collapsed as scheduled simply after 11 am as a brief evacuation was declared for close by residents.
Footage right here, recorded by Jan Schroth, reveals the second the huge concrete construction collapsed. Credit score: Jan Schroth through Storyful
