Former President Donald Trump talked about throwing dust within the faces of journalists whereas breaking floor on a brand new golf course at his resort in Aberdeen, Scotland, on Monday.
“And we throw it on the press, proper of their faces. We throw it proper of their faces,” the 2024 GOP presidential candidate stated whereas holding a shovelful of soil in a video shared as an Instagram story by Margo Martin, his deputy director of communications.
The clip was posted on Twitter by the PatriotTakes account.
Laughter broke out following Trump’s remark.
It got here throughout his first journey overseas following his indictment over the Stormy Daniels hush-money case and amid his civil trial over allegations he in 1996 raped former journal columnist E. Jean Carroll in a New York division retailer.
And it is the newest in an extended line of Trump assaults on the press.
Trump has repeatedly labeled journalists and media shops who don’t write flattering tales about him as “pretend information” and “enemies of the individuals.”
