MANILA, Philippines-EJ Obiena put up a powerful efficiency to clinch the gold medal within the ISTAF Berlin on the Olympiastadion in Germany early Monday (Manila time).
The world’s No. 3 pole vaulter bounced again from ending final within the Zurich leg of the Wanda Diamond League final week by clearing 5.92 meters for the highest podium end.
“It was an excellent day for the gold medal. Blissful for immediately,” mentioned Obiena on his social media.
Norway’s Sondre Guttormsen and KC Lightfoot of the US didn’t hurdle the identical top after Obiena went over the bar on his third try.

Guttormsen grabbed the silver medal on countback after clearing 5.82 with Lightfoot.
