Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich has defined why he believes Republican claims of patriotism don’t ring true.
“Republicans declare they love America. However they certain don’t appear to love the American individuals,” Reich, who served underneath President Invoice Clinton, started a video shared on his YouTube channel on Monday.
Reich broke down how Republicans routinely oppose reforms that may profit the vast majority of People, assault cities and rural areas, hurt the land they so declare to like with the rolling again of environmental laws and even shun democracy itself.
“It’s time to cease letting Republicans declare the mantle of patriotism with out really being patriots,” stated Reich.
“Now’s the time for the remainder of us to reclaim patriotism and affirm its true which means,” the previous cupboard secretary concluded.
