A highschool soccer coach in Atlanta was arrested on Saturday for punching a participant throughout the first quarter of a sport between Benjamin E. Mays (Ga.) and Douglas County (Ga.).

Atlanta Public Colleges spokesman Seth Coleman launched the next assertion on the incident, per Talgat Almanov and Joshua Skinner at Atlanta Information First.

“A lay coach for Mays Excessive Faculty, who just isn’t a classroom teacher, is in police custody after an incident that occurred on the sideline throughout the faculty’s sport this afternoon towards Douglas County Excessive Faculty… The lay coach might be charged with easy battery and face administrative fees from the district.”

The coach was faraway from the sidelines and brought into custody by an APS police officer. Mays wound up dropping the sport to Douglas County, 48-42.
