Comfortable returns

Have you ever heard of reverse logistics? When you haven’t, you’re certainly conversant in the idea behind it: e-commerce returns.

Mexico-based entrepreneur Agustin Shutte instructed my colleague Christine Corridor that in Latin America, the reverse logistics course of “is a large number” — and it’s a large number his firm Devolut is hoping to repair, with $600,000 in pre-seed funding.

However on a worldwide stage, Devolut isn’t the one startup on this area. There’s YC Combinator alum Rever and Philadelphia-based ReturnLogic. However Shutte instructed Christine that U.S. firm Comfortable Returns, which PayPal acquired in 2021, is the one he’s most hoping to emulate, with a community of “metropolis factors.”

Greater than the bodily footprint, although, what caught my consideration is what number of of those return-focused startups say they’re utilizing AI in some kind. For instance, Devolut is engaged on leveraging AI to make new product suggestions as a part of the return and alternate course of.
