MEMPHIS, Tennessee — Grizzlies heart Steven Adams wants season-ending knee surgical procedure, the group introduced Sunday.
Adams may have surgical procedure on his proper posterior cruciate ligament. Different nonsurgical rehabilitation didn’t resolve the continuing instability of his knee, the Grizzlies stated.
Adams damage the knee in late January and missed the rest of the season, together with the playoffs. The 6-foot-11 Adams had been a robust rebounder and defender for the group. He appeared on the right track to return this season till the surgical procedure announcement.
The Grizzlies already are short-handed with out guard Ja Morant — serving a 25-game league suspension for flashing a handgun on social media for the second time in three months — and energy ahead Brandon Clarke (Achilles tendon).
