ANKARA (Reuters) -Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan stated on Wednesday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was no completely different from Adolf Hitler and likened Israel’s assaults on Gaza to the therapy of Jewish individuals by the Nazis.

NATO member Turkey, which helps a two-state resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian battle, has criticised Israel’s air and floor assault on Gaza, known as it a “terror state” and stated its leaders have to be tried in worldwide courts.

Sharpening his rhetoric, Erdogan stated Turkey would welcome lecturers and scientists going through persecution for his or her views on the battle in Gaza, including Western nations supporting Israel have been complicit in what he known as warfare crimes.

“They used to talk unwell of Hitler. What distinction do you’ve gotten from Hitler? They’re going to make us miss Hitler. Is what this Netanyahu is doing any lower than what Hitler did? It isn’t,” Erdogan stated.

“He’s richer than Hitler, he will get the assist from the West. All kinds of assist comes from the USA. And what did they do with all this assist? They killed greater than 20,000 Gazans,” he stated.

Netanyahu responded by saying the Turkish president needs to be the final individual to lecture Israel.

“Erdogan, who commits genocide towards the Kurds, who holds a world file for imprisoning journalists who oppose his rule,” Netanyahu stated in a press release, “is the final one who can preach morality to us.”

Regardless of its criticism of Israel, Turkey has maintained business ties, drawing a backlash from opposition events and Iran. Ankara says commerce with Israel has fallen sharply since Oct. 7, when the Palestinian militant group Hamas launched a lethal cross-border rampage that killed 1,200 individuals, prompting Israel to launch its warfare on Hamas.

In contrast to its Western allies and a few Arab nations, Turkey doesn’t view Hamas as a terrorist organisation.
