Rey Mysterio defended america Championship towards Logan Paul at Crown Jewel 2023. The match led to controversy, as Santos Escobar left a pair of brass knuckles on the ring apron. Logan Paul used them to his benefit and knocked out Rey Mysterio to win the title.
This previous Friday on SmackDown, Santos Escobar unleashed an assault on Rey Mysterio and slammed the Corridor of Famer’s knee into the metal steps. Vega was distraught through the assault and obtained backstage reward for her appearing abilities through the phase.
Mysterio introduced that he underwent profitable knee surgical procedure this week on social media, and Escobar responded by telling him to by no means return to SmackDown.
